26 mins for my first 5km. It was awful. Gasping for air, heavy breathing, legs burning, others cruising by me after halfway. I felt horrible. I felt slow. I felt out of place.Telling myself I didn't belong was part of the issue. In other words, I had a mindset problem. In order to progress I had to change how I saw myself inside, before anything changed outside.Now?17 minutes for 5km.
Running is a part of my self identity.
It's something I do daily.
A big part of building that was breaking 20mins for 5km.
